Real Madrid went into the game against Osasuna with a lot of pressure on their shoulders. The Merengues faced two crushing defeats to FC Barcelona and AC Milan in their last two games ahead of this game, and a win was needed to relieve Ancelotti of some of the pressure he has been facing lately.

Luckily, Los Blancos put one of their best performances of the season on display in this match and came out winners with a convincing scoreline of 4-0.

Several players shone in this game, but none of them was brighter than the Brazilian superstar Vinicius Junior, who scored his second hat-trick of this season and displayed his best version on the pitch.

The winger had been facing some criticism following the toothless performances against Barcelona and AC Milan. But he came into this game with all guns blazing.

The Brazilian scored his first goal in the 34th minute after some poor defending from Osasuna allowed Jude Bellingham to send Vinicius through on goal. The Brazilian put in one of his characteristic dribbles, cut back a bit and put in a thunderous shot to the near post that gave Real Madrid the lead.

Vinicius, and the rest of the team, were more of the spectators for the second goal, as the young defender Raul Asencio put in a great ball over the whole of the field which allowed a charging Jude Bellingham to score his first goal this season.

But Vinicius was once again the star of the show following the half-time break. His second goal of the night came in a similar fashion as Bellingham’s as he latched on to a long ball from Lunin, ran up to the opposition box, rounded the goalkeeper, and sent the ball to an empty net.

He missed a great chance to complete his hat-trick only three minutes later, as his rather weak shot was saved by Sergio Herrera. However, he got another great chance only eight minutes after his second goal, as Brahim Diaz won the ball in Osasuna’s box and teed up Vinicius to score another goal, and the Brazilian scored his first La Liga hat-trick this season.

In total, the Real Madrid winger took 4 shots on target, three of which ended in the back of the net, while one was saved by Herrera. According to Sofascore statistics, he also had one shot that went off-target and 2 key passes in this game. Vinicius was also at his best with his dribbling, as he won 12 of his 18 duels and conceded 4 fouls.

He was subbed out a few minutes after completing his hat-trick, for his compatriot, Endrick. But this was a very good performance from the Real Madrid winger, who once again put his world-class credentials on display when the team was under a lot of pressure.
