Although the performances on the pitch so far have not exactly been to the liking of a lot of fans, it is known for a fact that Real Madrid have one of the most valuable squads in the world of football.

This is clear from the latest update on the valuations of La Liga players provided by Transfermarkt, a portal that specialises in the evaluation of footballers throughout the world.

As Mundo Deportivo has reported, with this latest update, Real Madrid once again have one of the highest-valued players in the squad, as Vinicius Junior’s value has increased by €20 million to reach up to €200 million. Thus, he has become the most expensive player in the world, along with the Manchester City forward Erling Haaland, who also has the same value.

Two more Real Madrid players follow these two highest-rated players in their market valuation, as Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe have both retained their earlier valuations of €180 million. Federico Valverde has also seen a significant increase in his value, and he is now valued at €130 million.

Some other Merengue players have seen their values drop, including Thibaut Courtois, David Alaba, and Dani Ceballos, with them now having market values of €25 million, €14 million, and €4 million respectively.

Thus, the Real Madrid trio of Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham, and Kylian Mbappe makes up the podium for the highest-valued players in La Liga.

With this update, Real Madrid also have the highest squad value in the world, standing at €1.36 billion. This squad value is higher than that of some of the other big clubs in Europe, including Manchester City and Arsenal, who have squad values of €1.26 billion and €1.17 billion respectively.

This standing goes on to show the excellent squad planning of Real Madrid, which has been able to maintain its hegemony in Europe despite the greater financial resources available to the Premier League and other state-owned clubs.
