Real Madrid have the same number of points as the Catalan club but pip them on goal difference as both the clubs have the same points (45). Girona have another tricky fixture as they take on Atlético Madrid, and the Merengues would also have an eye out on this match.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid face Mallorca with several changes in the squad as multiple crucial players return from their respective injuries. As expected, both Vinicius Junior and Dani Carvajal have returned to the squad and will get some minutes in this game.
Arda Güler is another player who has recovered from his injury, and millions of Madridistas would be looking forward to watching him get his first minutes in a Real Madrid shirt.
