This issue of physical problems and injuries is just not stopping for Real Madrid. After having started the season without two of their important players, David Alaba and Eduardo Camavinga, the Merengues also saw several other of their players miss some action with injuries in this early phase of the season.
Players like Aurelien Tchouameni, Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappe, Ferland Mendy, Dani Ceballos, and Vinicius Junior have all suffered some sort of physical problems in the last few weeks, but the most devastating blow for the Merengues was the one faced by Dani Carvajal, whose season has already ended with a serious knee injury.
However, there is even more bad news for Real Madrid on the injury front. As Mundo Deportivo has reported, another Real Madrid defender, Eder Militao, has once again developed a muscular problem, which could keep him out of action for the next ten days.
The Brazilian suffered this injury in the match against Villarreal, the same night when Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Junior also developed their respective issues. Real Madrid announced the news of Militao’s injury through their official statement, which ran as:
“After tests carried out by Real Madrid’s Medical Services, our player Éder Militão has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the quadriceps of his left leg. Awaiting further developments.”
Militao had already left Real Madrid to get his injury tested by the medical team of the Brazilian national team. Thus, it was confirmed in the South American country that Militao was suffering from this issue, and following his diagnosis, he returned to Madrid. The Merengues’ medical team undertook further tests on him today, and a muscle injury was diagnosed.
Thus, after having already recovered from a similar issue earlier in the season, Militao has once again joined the likes of Thibaut Courtois, David Alaba, Dani Carvajal, Vinicius Junior, and Brahim Diaz in the Real Madrid infirmary.
