Real Madrid have been struggling with injuries in this initial phase of the 2024-25 season. They started the season without two key players, David Alaba and Eduardo Camavinga, and saw several other players, including Dani Ceballos, Ferland Mendy, Aurelien Tchouameni, Jude Bellingham, and Brahim Diaz getting injured after the first few matches.

The Merengues received another severe blow only last week as their captain Dani Carvajal suffered a serious knee injury that is expected to keep him out of action for the rest of this season.

But after such a devastating event, there is a piece of good news for the Merengues on the injury front. According to MARCA, the forward Brahim Diaz has already returned to training on the ground with his boots on, showing that he is already getting near to his return from injury.

Diaz suffered an injury to the long abductor muscle of his right leg on 14th September in a match against Real Sociedad. After the early tests carried out on him, it was estimated that he would remain out of action for around two-and-a-half to three months.

However, the Moroccan is recovering even better than previously expected, and he can return to the pitch only a month and a half after suffering the injury. Thus, he can return to availability almost one month before the more pessimistic forecasts.

Brahim Diaz himself has been in very good spirits while working on his recovery and has only had good sensations in the affected area for the last few weeks.

Thus, Ancelotti might get a very important offensive weapon back only a few days after the end of the current October international break. His return will be eagerly awaited upon by the Italian tactician, as the Real Madrid attack has not been performing at its best since the start of the season.
