After consecutive home fixtures, Real Madrid now head away to lock horns against Real Valladolid, who sit in the relegation zone.

Despite Eduardo Camavinga being unavailable, Carlo Ancleotti has a strong squad at his disposal and would hope there are no hiccups in tonight’s match.

Here is how Real Madrid can lineup against Real Valladolid.

GK: Thibaut Courtois

Has kept only 6 clean sheets in 17 league fixtures and will hope to increase that tally as the Belgian is up against the joint-lowest-scoring side this season.

RB: Lucas Vazquez

Returned rather early from a hamstring injury and is in line to return to being right back. Will hope he has an easy night at the office against a bottom placed side.

CB: Raul Asencio

Has showed immense maturity and has stepped up defensively when needed. Forms a solid partnership along with Antonio Rüdiger and will hope to keep up his good form.

CB: Antonio Rüdiger

The German has been a mainstay in defence and is expected to start this fixture. May receive some rest towards the end of the game, with David Alaba coming on.

LB: Fran García

Has enjoyed his best form in a Real Madrid shirt and needs to continue to do so. Been better than Ferland Mendy and has improved his defensive skills greatly.

CDM: Aurelien Tchouaméni

Will feel comfortable playing in his original position which hopefully would be the case till the end of the season. Did not receive minutes against RB Salzburg and will hope to replicate his Celta Vigo performance.

CM: Jude Bellingham

Showed his class in the last match by recording two assists. Probably is the first name on the team sheet for Ancelotti and rightfully so. Will be eager to prolong his purple patch.

CM: Fede Valverde

Will return to where he plays best. An absolute machine and even showed his class when he was out of position. Always has a role to play whenever Real Madrid win.

RW: Brahim Díaz

Has been an underrated player in this side, possessing the ability to turn a game on its head mostly as a substitute. But has shown his class as a starter, with a goal and assist in the last two starts.

ST: Kylian Mbappe

Has been the league’s 2nd highest goal scorer despite being termed out of form for most part of the season. He now has the consistency he needed and will hope to increase his tally against a penetrable defence tonight.

LW: Rodrygo

The best player for Real Madrid in recent games. 8 goals and 3 assists in his last 10 matches for the club. Has a great opportunity to add more to that tally tonight in Vinicius’ absence.
