Match Overview:

Real Madrid gear up for yet another challenge in La Liga as they travel to Pamplona to take on CA Osasuna, in what is expected to be a tricky fixture. With the league coming towards the business end, the Merengues currently hold a 7-point lead over an impressive Girona side.

Despite not having their first-choice keeper and center-back, Real Madrid have shown no signs of any troubles as they have racked up 21 victories, along with 6 draws and just one loss. However, they cannot afford to rest, as their rivals are lurking close behind, ready to pounce on any signs of complacency.

The home side, CA Osasuna, will provide a stern test for Carlo Ancelotti’s men as they are known for their resilience and stubbornness hoping to spoil Real Madrid’s title ambitions. Osasuna currently are placed 10th in the La Liga table, although their brief unbeaten run was ended by Girona in the last game in a 2-0 loss.

Croatian striker Ante Budimir has taken the responsibility of their attack completely on his shoulders as the player has racked up an impressive 14 goals. However, the home side is expected to be without the services of key players such as Kike Barja, and defenders David García and Rubén Peña.

As far as the Galacticos are concerned, Jude Bellingham is suspended for this match due to an accumulation of yellow cards. This would put the squad depth to test as the players from the bench will have to step up this time around and deliver.

The El Sadar is set to host a fascinating fixture between both these as Osasuna will not look to give up too easily. However, a victory would be a memorable result for the home side, without a doubt.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid would be keen to further assert their dominance and extend their lead, making it difficult for teams to catch up. It promises to be an exciting match.
