Real Madrid have been getting the results over the last few matches, but Carlo Ancelotti has had to cope with a somewhat decimated squad since the start of the season.
The Italian tactician has not been able to count on the services of important players like David Alaba and Eduardo Camavinga since the start of the season, while other important players like Aurelien Tchouameni, Eder Militao, Ferland Mendy, Dani Ceballos, and Jude Bellingham have also had to miss some matches due to injury.
Bellingham missed four games with his last muscle injury at the start of the season, but returned to the squad for the game against Stuttgart in the UEFA Champions League. He played at a good level in that match and in the league game against Espanyol.
However, as Diario AS has reported, the Englishman might once again not be available for selection for the upcoming few matches, including the one against Atletico Madrid.
Bellingham had a fall in the match against Espanyol in which his shoulder was affected. After the match, Ancelotti revealed that the matter had already been solved by the doctors, but the latest reports from the club indicate that he is still being treated for this problem, and is facing severe pain in the affected area.
Thus, it remains to be seen whether he will be named in the squad for the match against Alaves on Tuesday and, more importantly, for the match against Atletico Madrid.
Jude Bellingham had also suffered from a shoulder dislocation last season that also resulted in a tear of his joint capsule. He missed four games and remained 17 days on the sidelines with that issue, but was able to recover with conservative methods.
On the other hand, Dani Carvajal, who also had to leave the pitch in the match against Espanyol has avoided any serious injury and is expected to remain available for the match against Alaves.
