Real Madrid earned a comfortable win against Arandina and qualified for the next round of the Copa Del Rey. Now, the Merengues will travel to Saudi Arabia to compete for another cup, i.e., the Supercopa de España.

Barring the long-term absences of injured players like Éder Militão (ACL), Thibaut Courtois (ACL), and David Alaba (ACL), and Lucas Vazquez (muscle strain), Los Blancos have almost all of their first-team players available for this tournament.

The Brazilian winger Vinícius Júnior who got minutes against Mallorca, is now fully fit for the Supercopa. Arda Güler, who debuted in the last game will also be traveling with the squad to Saudi Arabia.

Aurélien Tchouaméni, who performed centre-back duties in the last La Liga fixture is expected to play in the midfield this time around, as Nacho returns from his one-match suspension.

Several players from the Real Madrid quarry have also been called up by Carlo Ancelotti for this tournament, with Alvaro Carrillo, Vinicius Tobias, Mario Martin, and Nico Paz all present in the squad announced by the club.

While traveling with the first team for the competition to the Middle East will be a valuable experience for these youngsters, they are not expected to get a lot of minutes in these matches.

This is especially the case as the Merengues will be looking to win their first trophy of the season, and will be facing sides as good as Atletico Madrid, Osasuna, and Barcelona.
